The Group was founded way back in October 1944, and since June 1986, we have held our weekly term time meetings at our HQ, Burgess Hall in Goffs Lane, Cheshunt.

 

The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.  At 2nd Cheshunt we do this by delivering a programme of activities, for both boys and girls from the age of 5¾ from the local community.
